How do I know if this fits my car?
Measure the flat top surface of your center console — it needs to be at least 9 inches (23 cm) wide for the seat to sit stably. Most sedans, SUVs, and trucks with a standard center console will fit. If you're unsure, place a ruler or tape measure across the top of your console before ordering. The headrest strap fits standard headrest bars in virtually all vehicles.

This seat is designed for small dogs and cats with a body length of 13.5 inches or less (nose to base of tail — not including the tail) and a weight of 11 lbs (5 kg) or under. Common breeds that fit well include Chihuahuas, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers, Shih Tzus, Pomeranians, Toy Poodles, and most cats. Measure your pet before ordering.
Should I attach the seat belt to my pet's collar or harness?
▾Always attach the seat belt clip to a harness — never to a collar. In a sudden stop, a collar attachment could injure your pet's neck. A harness distributes any force across the chest and shoulders safely. If your pet doesn't have a harness, we recommend pairing this seat with a comfortable fitting harness for car travel.
Can this be used as a carrier for flights?
The seat folds flat and converts into a structured carry bag with handles and a shoulder strap — making it convenient for airports, vet visits, and shopping trips. For in-cabin airline travel, check your specific airline's carrier size requirements before flying, as requirements vary. The folded dimensions are 40.1 × 26.7 cm which fits under most airline seats but confirm with your airline first.
How do I clean it?
The exterior is water-resistant and can be wiped down or rinsed directly with water — even with a garden hose or water gun. The interior cushion is removable and machine washable on a gentle cycle. We recommend air drying the cushion rather than tumble drying to maintain the plush texture.
